The retreat has been special to me in lots of ways. Firstly, just because it’s forced me to actually pause and take time out of being the carer and for doing everything for everybody else. It’s the first time in a really long time I’ve taken time to be me. When Lindsay was talking about the Retreat, lots of people were interested in doing it but there were lots of reasons why people couldn’t. There were so many reasons why people couldn’t. There were so many reasons why I “shouldn’t” be here and I just knew it was like a calling to come. I didn’t know what it was, but I knew I HAD TO SAY YES and figure it out and that’s what I would say to anybody. If you are watching the retreat video or looking at this page or whatever it is that has nudged you to look this far then say yes and figure it out later because it will be so worth it.
